Story of Nick

Nick
Nationality:
United States
Disciplines:
Canicross

Nick got into this sport because he and his wife got a malamute and they needed a way to burn energy for him, so they took up canicross. A fun fact about Nick and his wife is that almost all their dogs are rescues.

“Canicross is my lifestyle. Literally my whole day revolves around either caring for our dogs or caring for myself, so I can participate in the sport I love. Goals for the future it to be on the podium at an IFSS or ICF World Championship”

Ruger was the dog that got Nick into canicross.

“I owe everything to him. Despite being a malamute, he and I won nearly every race him and I entered in North America. He is special to me because he is the sole reason I am in canicross. Without him, I would not be who I am today”.

A fun fact about Ruger is that he is famous at their local 5Ks for signing the national anthem.
