The mix of merino wool and polyester provides the Wool dog jacket with great qualities. Wool is nature’s own performance fiber, known for outstanding warmth, thermal regulation, breathability and odor reduction. Wool has a long tradition in Norway as it absorbs moisture without becoming cold or feeling wet. Polyester ensures durability and quick drying. Areas exposed to wear and tear are reinforced with softshell.

The Wool dog jacket will keep your dog warm and optimize restitution. It is adjustable for optimum fit for your dog. Leg straps ensure that the jacket stays in place when your dog is laying down or moving around. The jacket is shaped to cover your dog’s large muscle groups well, while also providing comfort and full freedom of movement.

The Wool dog jacket is available in sizes 27-70, in the colors dark teal and sand.

    Wool is a natural material with self-cleaning properties. In case the jacket gets dirty, you can rinse it or brush it off quickly before the stain soaks in and becomes harder to remove.

    If you want to wash the jacket in a washing machine you need to use the wool program and special wool detergent.

    Do not tumble dry.

How do I find the right size?

Measure the length of your dog’s back from between the shoulder blades to the base of its tail and follow the size table for optimum fit. Watch the video posted next to our size-finder tool if you are unsure how to measure. If your dog is between sizes, we recommend choosing the smallest size.

What is the difference between the Wool dog jacket and the Glacier wool jacket 2.0?

The Glacier wool jacket is made with a wool lining and a layer of thermal insulation, covered by a water-resistant and windproof shell. The Wool dog jacket is made of a wool mix with softshell reinforcements. The Glacier wool jacket 2.0 is made for outdoor use in very cold temperatures and during rain and/or snow. The Wool dog jacket is ideal for restitution in moderately cold temperatures.

How warm is the Wool dog jacket?

Your dog’s breed, coat, weight, health and age are factors that play a role when it comes to how warm the Wool dog jacket feels for your dog. A moving dog will also generate more body heat than a dog that is resting. Since dogs are so different, it is hard to set a temperature limit, but the jacket will keep most dogs comfortable when moving in colder temperatures.
