Cold weather shouldn’t stop your dog from enjoying the outdoors! Whether you are heading out for a crisp morning walk, a weekend camping trip, or winding down after activity, the Trail quest fleece overall helps your dog stay warm and comfortable in dry, cold conditions.

The top and extended neck are made from ultra-soft, high-quality Polartec® fleece for reliable insulation. Multiple panels are combined with a breathable, stretchy grid fleece on the belly and legs, offering the range of motion your dog needs to move freely. This technical, lightweight fabric supports airflow and regulates warmth all the way down to the ankles.

Available in 11 sizes, your dog benefits from a very personalized fit thanks to five adjustable cinch points: two at the neck, one at the tail, and two internally at the chest and waist.

Elastic cuffs make dressing easy without catching claws. The full-length YKK® zipper is offset for comfort when layering it with the Fjord overall raincoat.

The Trail quest fleece overall can be worn on its own, or as a base layer under a rain jacket or waterproof overall. Designed for a snug fit, it also works comfortably under a harness.

How to find the right size for my dog?

Measure the length of your dog’s back from between the shoulder blades to the base of their tail like shown inthis video.

Enter the number into the size finder on the product page for a size recommendation.

If your dog is between sizes, we suggest sizing up for large-chested dogs and down for slim dogs.

How to put on and adjust the Trail quest fleece overall?

The Trail quest fleece overall is designed for a snug, streamlined fit. Adjustments should feel secure while still allowing full range of motion.

  1. Place your dog’s head through the neck opening. Slide the front legs into the sleeves, then the back legs.
  2. Adjust the inner chest cinch point.
  3. Close the zipper halfway, then adjust the inner waist cinch.
  4. Close the zipper fully, fasten the snap button, and fine-tune the neck, head, and tail adjustments.

If your dog is not comfortable with apparel at first, slowly introduce the Trail quest fleece overall with rewards like treats and toys.

Does it have a leash opening?

No. The Trail quest fleece overall is designed to fit closely for maximum warmth. Its thin construction allows a harness to be worn comfortably on top.

Is it compatible with other dog jackets?

Yes. This overall is an excellent base layer under a waterproof shell in wet, windy or snowy conditions. The offset zipper helps prevent bulk and pressure points when layering.

How warm is it?

Warmth depends on your dog’s breed, coat, age, health, and activity level. A moving dog generates more heat than a resting one. While it’s difficult to set a strict temperature range, this warm dog overall keeps most dogs comfortable when active in freezing conditions. Always monitor your dog for signs of overheating when using insulated apparel.
