We started with our historic, world-champion-trusted Freemotion harness design but challenged everything else. CleanSeam™ technology reverses nearly all seams, stitching them from the inside out for an ultra-smooth surface against your dog’s body. This results in an even stronger, more stable, and body-hugging construction that drastically reduces chafing and maximizes comfort, even at full effort. The final harness is lightweight, streamlined, and built for speed.
Two neck options are available from size 5 to 7 to ensure the optimal fit for all athletic dogs, including those with a slim neck, such as hounds and German pointers. The Freemotion harness pro further adapts to your dog’s shape with static, anti-slip side straps, a hook-and-loop back adjustment, and replaceable, anti-slip back straps.
Using Freemotion tech™, the padded Y-shaped front allows free shoulder movement and unrestricted breathing for efficient, natural running. Pull force is evenly distributed across the body without pressure on the spine, so every ounce of strength is transferred into forward motion, turning running together into a faster, more powerful experience.

If your dog is recommended a size 5 to 7, measure the neck like shown inthis video, and use the size guide.The sizing system is the same as for the Freemotion harness 5.0. If your dog wears size 5, 6, or 7 in the Freemotion harness 5.0, measure their neck to check whether the smaller neck opening is a better fit.
How to adjust the Freemotion harness pro?
The Freemotion harness pro is adjustable to adapt to your dog’s unique shape. Adjusting the harness correctly is important to utilize its performance to the maximum.
When going through this checklist, your dog should stand up, and the harness should be held in a pulling position.Orwatch this video.1 - NeckYou should be able to fit two fingers vertically between the top of your dog’s neck and the harness for a medium-sized dog (sizes 4-7). A bit less for smaller dogs, more for bigger dogs. A pulling harness should be quite snug around the neck!Important!Fingers on top of each other, between your dog’s neck and harness.2 - DepthWith the side straps, you adjust the depth to fit your dog’s chest. For medium-sized dogs, you should be able to fit two fingers vertically between your dog’s chest and the harness.3 – Chest boneThe lowest point of the neck opening should be at your dog’s chest bone. The position can be adjusted with the side straps.4 - ArmpitsMake sure there is room for your dog to move freely.5 - RibsThe side straps should lie on your dog’s rib cage, not further back than the last rib bone.6 – Attachment pointAdjust so that the rope you attach the line to starts right above the base of your dog’s tail. Lock the backstrap by simply threading the end of the strap back through the metal slip lock.Important!Ensure the knots on the leash attachment rope are tight before use.Tips!If you find it hard to take the harness on/off, twist it sideways when pulling it over your dog’s head. What is the difference between the Freemotion harness pro and the Freemotion harness 5.0?
While both harnesses are built for practicing canicross, bikejoring and skijoring on a regular basis, every detail of the Freemotion harness pro is designed with ultimate performance and snug fit in mind. The choice of the type of harness should be based on your dog’s size, needs and your personal preferences.
Both harnesses use Freemotion tech™ to ensure free movement, unrestricted breathing, and share the same adjustment points.
The Freemotion harness 5.0 features thicker padding, while the pro version uses CleanSeam™ technology to achieve a flexible and close-to-the-body fit with thinner, lighter padding that remains strong and comfortable.
To fit athletic dogs with slim necks, the Freemotion harness pro adds new neck opening options from 5 to 7.
The pro version also features Hypalon reinforcements, anti-slip side straps, and a new, lighter, anti-slip attachment for a stable and secure fit for reliability under pressure.
While both side and back straps are replaceable on the Freemotion harness 5.0, only the back straps are replaceable on the pro version.

Which spare parts are available for the Freemotion harness pro?
We want your harness to last for many years. That’s why parts exposed to wear and tear are available for purchase.
You can find the replacement back strap [here]. It is also compatible with the replacement for the Freemotion harness 5.0 (sizes 6–9).
Please note: the replacement strap may be longer than the original, depending on your harness size. To adjust the length, cut the strap to the desired size and carefully seal the edges with a lighter.
What are the two neck options, and how to choose the right one?
The regular sizes follow the same neck opening dimensions as the Freemotion harness 5.0.
The S sizes have a smaller ng, but the same length as the original size.
Example: sizes 6 and 6s have the same length, but 6s has a smaller neck opening.
