Don’t let rainy weather stop you from getting out and having fun together! This dog raincoat keeps your dog clean and dry even in heavy rain. And when you return home from your wet outdoor adventures, your house will remain clean and dry as well. The durable polyester shell stops wind and rain with a 15.000 mm water column. The breathable membrane allows ventilation and reduces condensation.

In addition to being wind- and waterproof, our product developers have added smart features such as drainage holes on the chest portion of the raincoat. The holes prevent water from gathering under your dog’s chest, which could cause him/her to get cold and uncomfortable. The Fjord raincoat covers your dog’s body well no matter the shape or size and includes adjustable cinch points for optimum fit. A large collar shields your dog's neck.

This dog raincoat was designed for unrestricted movement. Even when running at full speed, your dog’s legs are free to move. Leg straps help keep the coat in the right position and prevent it from lifting in high winds.

A dedicated leash opening allows a harness to be worn under the raincoat. Reflective details provide high visibility in the dark as well as on overcast days. The Fjord raincoat is lightweight and packs easily into the included compression bag.

The Fjord raincoat comes in several colors; black, blue, purple, orange and green. Sizes range from 24-90 centimeters (measured along the back).

How do I find the right size for my dog?

Measure the length of your dog’s back from between the shoulder blades to the base of their tail. Input the number into the size finder on the product page for a size recommendation. If you are unsure how to measure, watch the video posted next to our size-finder tool.

If your dog is between sizes, we recommend choosing the bigger size for small/medium dogs (up to 55 cm back length), and the smaller size for larger dogs.

How water resistant is the Fjord raincoat?

This dog raincoat is rated with 15.000 mm water column/hydrostatic head and 5.000 mm breathability. A raincoat in this range will withstand most downpours as well as heavy snow.

Why is it called Fjord raincoat?

Fjords are a spectacular feature of the Norwegian landscape. A fjord is a deep and narrow sea inlet surrounded by steep slopes. Weather can change quickly in the fjords with sunshine one moment and heavy rain showers the next. The Fjord raincoat is made for these conditions, and, as a Scandinavian brand, we wanted to name our raincoat after this unique feature of the Norwegian landscape.

Is there a leash opening for a collar?

There is a leash opening for a harness, but no leash opening for a collar. The neck collar of the jacket is soft, making it compatible with a dog collar without the need of a separate leash opening.

Can I use the Fjord raincoat with a pulling harness?

Yes, a pulling harness can be worn under the dog jacket.
