It all started with her first dog, Carlie, in 2012. She was so active, and so was Sabrina. “I searched for a hobby we could do together, and so we landed on Canicross. But I noticed quite fast that I am just to slow for that discipline”. For the future Sabrina want to stay healthy and spend much time with her dogs. Regarding competitions and the sport in general, she wants to improve constantly and most important to harmonize with her dogs during competitions.
“For me, Canicross is more of a lifestyle than a sport or a competitive discipline. I do just love to enjoy the active everyday life with my dogs. I equally love sporting challenges and testing my limits».
Bonus was born in spring 2013 and came to Sabrina 6 months later. Unfortunately, he died in 2018 after a long and severe illness. “He will be a part of me and my history forever”.
Together with Bonus, Sabrina grew in the sport. They did everything together.
“Body-wise he was nothing special, quite small and slender. But in his heart, he was special. And he was very special for me. I could trust him blindly, and we never spent much time apart”.
