Zahra Goldsmith

Zahra bought a Siberian Husky puppy when she was a teenager.

Somewhere during her adolescence, she googled "is there mushing in Australia?"

Then she found the Australian Sleddog Sports Association.

I was helped by experienced mushers when I first started. They gave me invaluable knowledge and the passion to stay in the sport for many years. This sport represents passion, positivity and teamwork.

Zahra's goal for the future is to get a better understanding of the sport in Australia, and to continue breeding and training.

I aspire to breed dogs best suited to the climate in our country, but also become strong and skilled enough within my own fitness to achieve their maximum ability. 

Zahra is also doing other activities with her dogs. 

Our dogs are promising in Lure Coursing competitions, having gained their Junior Courser title after two events. I have also begun training agility with the goal to one day compete.
