Ben started Canicross as a way to combine his love for running, particularly trail running, with his passion for dogs. Now, he wants to challenge himself as a partner to be the best he and his dogs possibly can be together as a team.
“The sport means everything. I could not be without my family of dogs & they could not be without their running”.
Ben was the first canicross team to break 12:30 for 5km (12:24).
His goal for the future is to continue to be the best canicross team ever in this history of the sport. He also wants to defend his British, European & World titles, and take on new challenges with his team in all distances and terrains.
Blake is bred by Magda Didier in Belgium.
“He is special to me because he is my British, European & World Champion as well as World record holder over 5km. He is also the father of two puppies we have here at home ready to compete in the future”.
