Measure your dog’s chest circumference as shown inthis video, then use our size chart to find the best fit. The size number corresponds to your dog’s back length.

The Cooling pull-on is designed to fit snugly. If your dog is between sizes, we recommend sizing down for slim dogs and sizing up for broader chests. Otherwise, choose the size indicated by the chart.

1. Wet the vest:Soak the vest in water, or for a faster effect, dunk it in a bucket or river. A cooling pattern will activate.
2. Put it on:Slide the vest over your dog’s head, then pull each leg through the dedicated openings. A close fit ensures maximum cooling performance.
3. Go out with peace of mind:Your dog is now ready to face the heat comfortably.
4. Re-wet when needed:When the vest is dry or the cooling pattern fades, simply wet the vest again to reactivate its cooling effect.

The cooling effect will vary based on humidity levels, wind, and sun exposure. In hot, dry climates, the vest can stay effective for up to 5 hours under optimal conditions. The felt mid-layer absorbs and holds up to 4 liters of water per square meter, ensuring a long-lasting effect. In windy or sunny conditions, the vest may dry faster. When the cooling pattern fades, simply re-wet the vest to reactivate its cooling effect.

The 3Chill tec™ is a 3-layer evaporative cooling system that regulates your dog’s temperature while keeping you aware when your dog's cooling gear is actively working or not. When water evaporates, it takes heat with it, helping your dog stay cool.

• Inner layer: The breathable 3D air-mesh efficiently transfers your dog’s body heat to the mid-layer.
• Mid-layer: The highly absorbent felt material holds and spreads water evenly across the vest. The more water it holds, the longer the cooling effect lasts.
• Outer layer: Facilitates evaporation and displays a cooling pattern while wet. Once the pattern disappears, the vest is dry and no longer cooling - simply re-wet it.

The Cooling pull-on vest is designed for thermoregulation during low-intensity activities or periods of rest. Engaging in high-intensity sports, such as pulling, canicross, or bikejoring, generates significant internal heat due to your dog’s increased muscle activity and elevated metabolic rate.

While the vest helps manage external heat, it cannot compensate for the rapid core temperature rise caused by intense exercise. In hot weather, this can lead to overheating despite external cooling measures.

To optimize your dog’s performance and safety:

• Use the Cooling pull-on before activity to pre-cool your dog’s core and provide initial relief.
• Use it during breaks to aid in temperature recovery.
• Avoid high-intensity sports during the hottest part of the day.

Our evaporation-based Cooling vests are also made with breathable materials that allow air to circulate and do not trap heat. Instead, they mimic the natural sweating process by absorbing water and using airflow to pull surface body heat away.
