The unique construction of the CaniX belt 3.0 helps take the strain off your lower back and promotes good running technique. It is so lightweight and comfortable that you can hardly feel it!
When running with a dog, your core is constantly being pulled off-center. Having an ergonomic and functional belt is essential, especially when having a dog that is pulling hard. The belt has been developed with elite canicross athletes.

The CaniX belt 3.0 comes with a secure screw-lock carabiner as a standard attachment point for your dog's line. The carabiner moves on a loop in front and follows your dog's movement, providing equal pressure on your hips even if your dog is pulling off-center. With this setup it is easier to maintain balance and contact with your dog, even in turns.

On the back there is a 0,5 l expandable pocket with a zipper for your phone or other essentials.

How to measure myself for the CaniX belt 3.0 and find the right size?

Simply measure around your waist and use the size finder to get your size. The CaniX belt 3.0 is highly adjustable for optimum fit to your body and preferences. Size small is mainly forjunior runners.

How to adjust the CaniX belt 3.0?

  1. Loosen all straps and unbuckle the front piece.
  2. Pass your legs through the leg straps, marked red. Lift the belt up and attach it around your waist. Tighten the strap around your waist so that it sits comfortably above your hip bones, without being too tight. Also tighten the leg straps.
  3. Use the webbing shown in illustration 2 to adjust the rear pocket so that it sits at the middle of your bum.
  4. Fasten the front piece. Make sure it does not go under the leg straps or waist strap, and that the carabiner is faced with the screw-lock up, opening away from you (Illustration 3). Adjust the front piece. The recommended distance between your body and the carabiner is 15 centimeters/6 inches.

Which activities is the CaniX belt 3.0 suitable for?

The CaniX belt 3.0 is made for running with dogs, also known ascanicross. It is also possible to use this belt for walking or hiking with dogs. Since the CaniX belt 3.0 is very thin, many choose this belt when carrying a big backpack.

What differs the CaniX belt 3.0 from the CaniX belt 2.0 the CaniX belt pro?

The CaniX belt pro is an even lighter option made for competition use. It has been stripped of all unnecessary features, such as a pocket. The CaniX belt pro has less padding and is made almost entirely from an ultra-thin and lightweight breathable material.

The CaniX belt pro has a fixed but adjustable power transfer strap where the gliding carabiner is attached. On the CaniX belt 3.0 the front piece is detachable.

The waist buckle has been updated on the CaniX belt 3.0 with a sturdier and more durable Mojave® Hexa Duraflex® buckle.

Can the belt hold my big and strong dog?

Yes! The tensile strength of the CaniX belt 3.0 is rated to 300 kg. The carabiner and materials are solid, so attaching a big, strong and eager competition dog is not a problem.

How to use the CaniX belt 3.0 screw-lock carabiner?

The carabiner locks by turning the screw clockwise until it locks completely and cannot open by itself. When running, the screw-lock should be facing you up.

I prefer a different carabiner. Can I change it?

The belt comes with a screw-lock carabiner, but can easily be replaced with other attachment hardware, for example, theQuick release snap hook(not included). Check out ourSpare parts sectionfor more options.
