When Zuzanna was 13 years old she met long distance musher Bartek Piaseczny. He has a Alaskan Husky kennel.
"He taught me everything about sled dogs. I was sure that I would like to continue my passion in long distance, but when my first own Alaskan Husky, Ikumma, grew up I wanted to go to my first competition on scooter. It was a sprint race!"
Zuzanna changed her goal. She then started to train mountain biking, and bikejoring became her sport.
"This sport has become my lifestyle. The most important thing in this sport are my dogs. Sled dogs have something extra. Their motivation and stubbornness have always fascinated me. No matter what happens, they always want to run because they love it."
"In the hard times in life, when I almost gave up, they were an example for me. I had to be as stubborn as they are."
Zuzanna's goal for the future is to reach the highest level. Her main goal is to have four great dogs that will run in a perfect team so she can attend snow races.

Mulan is Zuzanna's first greyster.
"I havee been waiting for her for over a year. I somehow managed to get her from France during full COVID lock-down. That was very difficult."
"I knew from the very first free running that she would love to run, in fact, I didn't have to teach her anything. She is an extremely strong female, and I am looking forward for her first racing seasons."
A fun fact about Mulan is that she loves her ball.
"After training Mulan gets her ball and something to drink. Before she can drink she puts the ball in to the bowl."
