Line harness grip is a high-quality dog harness developed for hiking, tracking and everyday activities. It is a further development of our bestseller, Line harness.

This dog harness has a handle on the back that provides the possibility to help your dog over obstacles. It can also be used to easily get hold of your dog if you meet somebody or in areas with traffic, where you need to keep your dog close to you for safety reasons.

There are several attachment points for the dog`s leash making this harness very versatile. In addition to the attachment point on the back, there is an attachment point for a tracking line under the stomach. This way the dog can move freely without having the line get tangled around its legs. From size 3 and up there is a third attachment point on the front for mild anti-pull control.

Line harness grip is adjustable around the chest. After the first adjustment, it is easy to put on and take off by opening the solid Duraflex® buckles on each side of the harness. Lock the chest straps by simply threading the end of the strap back through the sliplock.

3M™ reflective details make the dog visible from several angles. All seams and edges on the inside of the harness are sewn so they have their smooth side towards the dog`s body. The inner lining overlaps without any hard edges to prevent chafing. The harnesses are made from durable, tightly woven nylon and have closed cell foam padding to prevent water soaking in. Line harness grip is reinforced with Hypalon on exposed areas.

This dog harness is available in black color and in sizes 1-9, to fit both small and big dogs.

FAQ

How to find the right size?

Measure your dog's neck and chest circumference, then enter the numbers into our size finder tool on the product page to receive a recommended size for your dog.

If your dog falls between sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size for small or medium dogs (up to size 6). For large dogs (size 7 and up), we suggest opting for the smaller size if they are in between sizes.

Can I use the Line harness grip for pulling?

The Line harness grip is an all-round everyday use harness that dogs can do a light pull in. Line harness grip is not intended for specific pulling activities such as canicross, bikejoring, or skijoring, but can be used for it if the dog is only a moderate puller. If the dog is going to pull we recommend using one our pulling harnesses that were developed for this purpose, like our Freemotion harness.

What is the difference between the Line harness 5.0 and the Line harness grip?

Line harness grip has the same design and function as the Line harness, but has a handle in addition.

WHY IS THE LINE-STRAP UNDERNEATH THE HARNESS?

The line-strap on the Line harness grip is attached to the bottom of the harness to avoid the line getting tangled in the dog’s legs.

How do I use the attachment point in the front for mild anti-pull control?

If you want your dog to pull less, you can attach the leash to the front attachment point. When your dog pulls, the tension on the leash will naturally guide them to turn back towards you, helping to manage their pulling behavior. Please note that this is a helping tool. The attachment point is not designed to completely eliminate pulling or directly teach the dog not to pull.

How do I lock the adjustable chest straps?

After initial adjustment for your dog, lock the chest straps by simply threading the end of the strap back through the sliplock.

How do I change the buckle?
