At the heart of the design is a built-in Y-shaped harness that ensures ergonomic comfort and freedom of movement. Simply slip your dog’s head through the opening and secure it with four durable buckles. Two accessible neck adjustments and four chest straps, adjustable inside and outside the compartments, provide a customized fit. Compression straps secure the load to keep the backpack stable on the back and with minimal bouncing, whether on rugged terrain or during free running.
The large compartments are ideal for storing essentials like water, food, a first-aid kit, booties, or a jacket, while two easy-access top pockets keep snacks, a leash, or waste bags within easy reach. The soft lining prevents chafing, ensuring lasting comfort for long adventures together.
When encountering wildlife or other trail users, the neck leash attachment gives you close control, in addition to the rear loop attachment. The sturdy handle and the harness’ extended length evenly distribute weight for safe and comfortable lifting.
Built to last, the backpack features ripstop fabric and a water-repellent finish, offering durability in rough terrain and protection from changing weather.

How much weight a dog can carry depends on their breed, size, and shape. Before starting to carry weight, your dog should be fully grown, approximately two years old, and in good shape. Always start with an empty pack and add weight gradually over several weeks. For a healthy dog in regular shape that only carries weight occasionally, a maximum of 5-15% of the body weight is recommended. Make sure to balance the weight on both sides.
A strong and well-trained dog can carry 30-50% of their own body weight. This will vary based on shape and breed. In addition, the weight of the backpack will depend on the terrain and the length of the hike.
