Taking your dog training to a new level, the Line harness long WD is a reliable, robust and multi-functional dog harness.

Strengthen your bond during work sessions with the reinforced handle to help your dog overcome obstacles and keep close control when needed. The extra rear webbing distributes the weight when lifting your dog and prevents escape artists from backing out of the harness when adjusted snugly. 

The Y-shaped padded neck promotes free shoulder movement and minimal breathing constraints. Four side-release buckles make it easy to put on and take off.

To get you covered in all situations, we strategically placed two steel D-rings in addition to a standard leash connection point at the back. These rings allow for multiple handling options and close control via a neck connection. A dedicated attachment point under the chest enables unrestricted movement, ideal for use with a tracking line.

Crafted with heavy-duty materials, the products in our Working dog series offer unrivaled strength and durability. Exposed areas of the Line harness long WD are reinforced with Hypalon, a material known for its abrasion resistance, further increasing the harness's longevity.

Your dog’s harness can be personalized with patches attached to the hook and loop fasteners.

How to measure my dog and find the right size?

Harness size is determined by your dog’s neck and chest circumference. Start by measuring your dog’s neck and chest circumference where the harness will lie. Make sure to measure tight around the neck and pull away your dog’s fur to get an accurate measurement.

The size finder on the product page will help you find the correct size for your dog. Based on the measurements, simply fill in your dog’s numbers and a size will be suggested for you. With this tool, you will also see if your dog is close to going one size up or down.

The Line harness long WD is adjustable around your dog’s chest and belly.

How to adjust the Line harness long WD?

1 - Neck

You should be able to fit at least two fingers vertically between the top of your dog’s neck and the harness for a medium-sized dog (sizes 4-6). A bit less for smaller dogs, more for bigger dogs.

2 - Chest

For medium-sized dogs, you should be able to fit at least two fingers vertically between your dog’s chest and the harness. Adjust on both sides, as even as possible. After initial adjustment for your dog, lock the chest and belly straps by simply threading the end of the strap back through the slip lock.

 

3 - Armpits

Make sure there is room for your dog to move freely.

Tip!

If you find it hard to take the harness on/off, twist it sideways when pulling it over your dog’s head.

Can I use the Line harness long WD for pulling?

The Line harness long WD is not intended for dog powered sports such as canicross, bikejoring, or skijoring, but can be used for it if the dog is a moderate puller. If your dog is pulling hard, we recommend using a pulling harness developed specifically for this purpose such as the Freemotion harness WD.
