This is the working dog version of your favorite dog raincoat. It keeps your dog dry and comfortable even after hours in the rain during missions and training. The rugged outer layer is windproof and waterproof with a 15,000 mm water column. In the middle of the action, the highly breathable membrane ensures ventilation and reduces condensation, preventing heat buildup.
Designed for full freedom of movement, the raincoat features adjustable cinch points at the head, neck, and back for the perfect fit. Leg straps keep the jacket secure in high winds, and once adjusted, it stays in place, even when using the mid-back leash opening.
Your dog is protected from mud by the adjustable belly section, which features drainage holes to prevent water from gathering under your dog’s chest, reducing discomfort and cold.
The silent outer fabric maximizes your dog’s stealth during operations. Hook-and-loop systems on each side allow for customized patches to display identification or improve visibility.

How do I find the right size for my dog?
Measure the length of your dog’s back from between the shoulder blades to the base of their tail. Input the number into the size finder on the product page for a size recommendation. If you are unsure how to measure, watch the video posted next to our size-finder tool.
If your dog is between sizes, we recommend choosing the bigger size for small/medium dogs (up to 55 cm back length), and the smaller size for larger dogs.
What is the difference between the Fjord raincoat WD and the Fjord raincoat?
The Fjord raincoat WD is part of our Working Dog series, which is crafted with the same durable materials used for military and police dogs. Its outer fabric is a rugged nylon webbing, including the adjustable chest strap, ensuring superior strength and durability. While the reflective details of the standard Fjord raincoat have been removed, the Fjord raincoat WD can be customized with reflective or personalized patches using two hook-and-loop systems located above the shoulders.
How water-resistant is the Fjord raincoat WD?
This dog raincoat is rated with a 15,000 mm water column/hydrostatic head and 13,000 g/m2/24hr breathability. A raincoat in this range will withstand most downpours as well as heavy snow.
Is there a leash opening for a collar?
There is a leash opening for a harness, but no leash opening for a collar. The neck collar of the jacket is soft, making it compatible with a dog collar without the need of a separate leash opening.
Can I use the Fjord raincoat WD with a pulling harness?
Yes, a pulling harness can be worn under the dog jacket.
